Yesterday's Future Man?
For me, it's the one that captures, really, how the future(our present) never lived up to the "promises"(was it only teasing?) shown as being possible via the super-charging motivational and inspiring flow of music...
Bah.
If I may now segue: I am wondering if This Is The Dawn Of My D-Day is extolling the beauty of escapism via fucking? If so, -I've had enough. it's not enough. get me off!- is one of the best double entendres eva!!
Now I'm gonna meander: I learned a new word: symmetria. Essentially, this is a perfect balance achieved through disbalance, or opposites/opposing elements.
KRISTEENYOUNG, for me, epitomizes an audio/visual example of this: female/male, electronic/non-electronic, standing/seated, vocal/silent, ka-blah-blah-blah...
Oh, the tape on the hand? Lodger? Since it's on her left hand... Or maybe like a boxer?

Not that I'm disagreeing, nor am I agreeing- but what exactly does "90's music" sound like and what is it associated with? For instance, I find that in general "80's music" stereo-typically has repetitive electronic drums and synths(!)....
While I don't agree with the general critical comparisons that I've read, I do have to admit that Little Girl Voice reminds me a little bit of Motorcrash, but that is from '88... Maybe it's tongue-in-cheek since the singer in that song was 23 in '88 also?
Oh, and if I'm not mistaken, KY was 17 when in Nov. 9th; pretty far-out! Could this have led to 17 N. 9th Street and the recording of the Waterworks album? Actually, does anyone(papooseface?) know if KY wrote the music of Nov. 9th or not?
One more thing: who the fuck is that dude who's all up in the camera's lens on the cover of the Waterworks album?

I see/saw that the lyrics were added to the lyrics section about a week ago. I suppose I should visit the home-page more often... One line in particular jumped out:
