So this is pretty off-topic, but I have a story to tell!
The other day I was telling a friend about KY & he sounded really interested (he's into that crazy rock sound AND operatic singers!). So I went and played him Stop Thinking and Son of Man (LOUDLY, of course, for the full effect) and he absolutely loved it! He said they sounded like nothing he'd ever heard before, and that you couldn't even tell it was just a piano and drums - because their sound is so huge, you know? So he was really into it and wanted a copy of the CD! So I'm going to make him a copy of Music for Strippers. He even called in our other friend and was like, "Have you heard this girl??!" So yeah, I was just really excited that someone else really liked them, so I wanted to share the story. :)
Haha, I had been thinking about that, too, Amy. Almost............ September.............. maybe......... announce ............ something?? Oh the anticipation.
Unrelated note:
Why do you guys think the songs 8 and 9 are named after numbers?
Last night I dreamt KY was singing at the Michael Jackson memorial!!!!! It was so weird! I didn't even watch it on TV, but I dreamt this. She was wearing a Grecian looking outfit. Kind of like the Domine Fimus outfit, but with a shorter skirt. Then there were fireworks, and one of the fireworks was in the shape of (I'm not even kidding here) Lady GaGa's head! I was like, "Wow, she looks awful here too!"
The spoken bit sounds like something she was told, and is repeating incredulously, rather than something she's telling.

I agree. I want this part recorded on an album. I've listened to it repeatedly already. And I like the other new little part after that. It sounds dark and creepy.
