I was at that show and clearly remember what happened. She came out with the ruffles, but, while she was singing, they became loose. Soon after, she told the audience to "never let your drummer tie (the ruffles) for you. She then took it off and left it on the floor.

Did it start off with Jeff banging away at the drums? If so, I think the song is "Son Of Man" or something like that.

The same person who leaked the song saying "Morrissey" was to duet with KY put up lyrics as well. I'm not sure if they are acurate though.

Life's been cold
So I've grown a concrete coat
That's what it takes

Life's been choked
So I broke 3,000 throats
That's what it takes, dear

Half sound, half drowned
The only movements toward the ground
But births in earthen dirt
Domine fimus
That's what it takes

You feel a low flame memory
Summer long ago
Astride, you glide and cry
Open faced, open
That's what it takes, dear

I don't want your arms
I don't need your march for the dead of heart
I don't want your hug of war
I don't need your

It's actually a used cd $5.99. I didn't see any vinyl for them. Boo. But still a good find.

I meant vintage vinyl, the website, not that the item was a vintage vinyl.

Nov. 9th & Waterworks available...

October 2, 2008 by chayane

Someone posted on KY's myspace that Nov. 9th is availabe on vintage vinyl. I checked and it seems it's true, and they also have Waterworks. So, for those of you who don't have them yet, go and get em.

Oh definetly. I met them before and after the shows. They usually hang around for a bit after the shows.

I didn't mean "loud words". I meant that everyone was able to hear the words exchanged between ky and that idiot sound tech guy. He really was an asshole to ky. Very insulting.

St. Louis Missouri - This show was great for the audience, but really bad for Kristeen. She was complaining she couldn't hear herself the whole time, but the sound wasn't bad. She ended up smashing the mic and not singing some of the lyrics. She even spoke the lyrics at some point, instead of singing them. At one point she and the sound tech had a some loud words from over the room. There were about 50 people in attendence. Every body cheered her and really enjoyed their set. I think the set list was similar to the other shows, except that she introduced a new song, "Son Of man", which was phenomenal.

Indianapolis Indiana - The venue at this show was way better than the previous one. The sound was incredible. The band was in good moods. The setlist was similar to the previous. They played, and she sang, flawlessly. There were only about 15-20 people there and only 2 were woman. She even commented on how it was "a very testoterone crowd"(to paraphrase). When she was finished, everyone stood thinking that she was gonna keep going(the list felt very short). While she was starting to pack everybody cheered and yelled for another song. She decided to come back and play another song for us, "PROTESTANT". It was the best show I have ever seen of KRISTEENYOUNG.

p.s. the outfits were the hot pink?(I think, as I may be colorblind) dress with the KY letters for the STL show. the puzzle dress for the IND show.

p.p.s. I am not good at reviewing shows.

Yes! My flight leaves at 6 AM on saturday. I'll be at both the St. Louis, and Indianapolis shows. See you there if you're going. I was still wondering if anyone from the west coast is going, but I guess not. Or, at least, no-one who posts on this site.

The last time I saw Kristeen young in Utah just a few shows before the incident, she played that song with that extra ending. I tried asking her about it, but she couldn't hear me and she had to finish picking up her things. I remember I told her, "I'll see you in Florida". I never did :(.

Halfway Across The Atlantic Ocean and Protestant have been added to Kristeen Young's myspace site.

I'll start

I always wanted to be a catholic
but ______?________ a protestant
_____?______ the right words I should pray
_______?_______ to not have to decide what to wear everyday

but I am just a ?(starts naming things, but I only understand "a drug dealer")

edit: I just realized the song was added to the myspace site after I wrote this.

Is anyone from the west coast going? I'm from L.A. and I'm trying to make plans to go to the STL and Indiana shows.

Yes, I am very fond of Sam and her reviews. She is a wonderful person. I knew the quote was wrong. Thanks for the correct quote!
