I'm in the middle of writing an in-depth, anal-retentive review of her latest CD---I've listened to it in its entirety WELL over 50 times since its release (maybe more).  It truly is a masterpiece.

I wonder if she's in the middle of writing now.

I very much look forward to reading that, Nick. I always liked what of your writing I've seen, and there's just so much in the album to think about and turn over.

I wrote a review (which KYK, and anyone here who knows me, has already read) on my blog, as well as an in-depth reading of "Atlantic Ocean."  The review I've never been entirely happy with -- trying to write for a casual audience without becoming glib. The "Atlantic Ocean" post, I still like. 

I can't wait to read it, Nick! I've been enjoying fan-written reviews lately.

I wonder if she takes requests coldsteal or not.  It's really ok coldsteal I practically like everything they play coldsteal anyway so I will be coldsteal I mean cool with anything regardless.

lol. I believe KY takes requests into consideration. When I saw them in STL she mentioned that someone had requested to hear 'Goddamn You...' the last time they played there, but that she had taken a second look into the lyrics and decided not to do it, then laughed a little :) ... then someone yelled out Cold Steal and Baby Jef said 'she hates that song' (I'm not sure if it was sarcasm or not, but that is one song I would really enjoy live)... She then played the next song.

I must've mentioned that they played "Cold Steal" on West Coast dates of the Morrissey tour, so it had an outing at least as recent as that. Which doesn't mean Kristeen can't hate it now, of course, if Jef wasn't kidding. Hatred comes quickly, like love in a Pet Shop Boys song (which has always seemed to me to be vaguely about death as well, but then I've been conditioned by my main musical admirations to assume every song is about death, including that one).

I'd KILL to hear her perform CHERRY, THE GOOD NIGHT, or AUTOMATIC LOVE live.

I wanna hear Valuable.

I would love to hear Bite Down. The first beginning notes give me chills :)

Marley's Ghost, Programme X, Cherry, Night Blindness, ...HI-TEk, (the original) Incubator, Automatic Love...

Okay---how about we pay her to peform an entire CD a night!!
