Lovely photos, KYK - you photograph KY so well, and your shots of Jef also capture more than the usual "and there was a drummer too" shots. The pix of KY taking the equipment down are like 1940s studio stills.

I never take photos, but I feel like a little bit of a fool for not doing so in Portland - there was only one person taking photos there, and I'm not sure who she was or if she'll be flickring them. (I vaguely thought I *should* know her; she seemed quite keen on both KY and Killola - pink-haired woman.) Kristeen's Portland dress was fantastic and had some details which were only briefly made visible. I am sure it'll show up again, though.

What was strange was also seeing this very intense Kristeen dress so close, and briefly not even on a stage. This was my second time seeing them in a club, but the DNA Lounge is a much larger place and there were other people wandering around dressed up very elaborately and I was never very near her, so the shock of it was not as much then. These outfits are armor (in this case, almost literally) and costumes and artworks and personality extenders and much more. It reminded me that it's been a long time since I've really innovated with clothes and now, if I go back to it, I'm afraid I'll be derivative and imitative and dull, but is this privatethingsrachelsconcealed.lefora.com? I do not think so.

Meeting them and Amy and Vicki made me feel so affected. It was great, but I also felt so aware of presenting my own personality to those I had only seen at a great distance, because I was afraid to simply show it. I wish I could still be naive sometimes so I wouldn't know these things were happening, but once you stop being naive -which, by the way, I think is usually a voluntary choice- all you can hope to do is become more enlightened someday.

But...at the same time...I'm so glad I did. I felt affected [and false], but I was greatly [emotionally] affected. XD This tour is, I think, going to be something special and I hope more people here can see more parts of it.

Thanks!!  Out of dozens of photos I took, only a few turned out well.  I need to practice more.
I didn't take any photos of the Portland show because I didn't want to be a pest.  But after laying eyes on that dress (armor, yes!) I wanted to kick self!
Rachel, it was such a pleasure to meet you!!!  I am so glad you were there.  I liked meeting Mike too, he was very nice.  The night was too short!  It meant so much to share the experience with you.
