Dreams.

I have a semi-recurring dream about KY. She is usually about to perform, but I wake up before the performance is meant to begin. We are in some sort of unusual venue (fraternal order hall, large orchestra theater) and she acknowledges me mysteriously, but doesn't approach.

I always feel, in the dream and when I wake up, that her presence is a good omen and that she represents art and grace. :)

I haven't had any dreams about KY, but I've been having a recurring dream since I was a kid that's beyond strange: I'm standing on the center of a foot bridge when two men in black scuba gear with spear guns approach from each end.  They push me off, and as I'm sinking in the water, I see them looking over the railing while Kermit the Frog looks on with them, screaming a maniacal laugh.

Although this dream makes me laugh TODAY (not to mention everyone I've told it to), when I first had it I woke up petrified.

I can't even begin to tell you what some people have told me this means.

Wow Nick that is terrible.  Kermit has always seemed creepy to me, that and his releationship with the pig.

I had a dream in which Baby Jeff asked me to play bass in the band, KY was also there but Jeff did all the talking. I also once had a dram where David Bowie was going to give me some advice but I woke up before he had the chance to. I figure if I meet him someday I'll ask him what he was talking about.

on a seperate note the Kermit jacket cape thing reminds me of something I saw in a gallery once, there was an open house at a gallery In New York where you could also go into some of the artist's studio spaces as well. In one of the studios the people there were working on a project where they were trying to make Elmo dolls work together in sequence but they were just using the inside robot bits not the furry outside so basically there were all these discarded Elmo pelts hanging up. It was an odd thing to come across.

The only dream I ever had about her is she and I were working together (not in music though, it was something else??)   and we were on a coffee break.  We sat there complaining to each other about something.  The coffee was good, that's all I can remember.  And then one about Jef absolutely hating my guts, just couldn't stand me and I couldn't figure out what I had done to piss him off.

I do have a weird recurring dream almost once a week and it is that I never graduated from college and so I have to do it all over again.  I dreamed that I thought I was done but I had two more classes that nobody told me about.  It's very annoying.  Maybe I should hit up Harley for some therapy! :)

Oh, and I love the little plastic Kermit hat pinned to the side of the model's head, maybe it's a headband, can't tell.

Here's a few KY related dreams I've had most recently:

-We were all on a boat and I think she was giving a show there. Lots of people were there and it was kind of like a fun party. The outfits were kind of like Can-Can dancers, but the dresses shorter and Kristeen's was red and black. She wasn't playing in the dream, she was just walking around and stuff like everyone else and I think Tony Visconti was there, too, with her. Anyway, out of nowhere, zombies appear and start invading our boat. The dream ended before anything really scary happened (I hate zombies).

-KY was playing a really small show at a music festival where people could come in and out as they please. Some people there didn't know who she was and just walked in for something to do. It was a small room with chairs set up in front of the stage for the audience. I was sitting a row or two back. Kristeen was on stage wearing a simple black cocktail-like dress and was un-fixing her hair to wear it down. She was in mid song and I think the song was Incubator or one of the songs where she has the pre-recorded track going and then sings with it. So out of no where, a kid sitting nearby me yells, "You really suck!". Kristeen hears and stops and starts to tear up. I was stunned that someone could be so rude to her and I get PISSED. As poor KY starts to cry I kind of tear up too and yell, "You're the best, Kristeen!! We love your music!" because I think I was there with Elyse (my sister) and some other fans, too. Then I lean over to the kid, who's like a young blonde asshole looking type, and like, ferociously and furiously say to him, "THIS IS MY FAVORITE BAND ON THE PLANET AND YOU'RE RUINING IT! THEY LIVE IN NEW YORK AND THEY HARDLY EVER TOUR HERE!" And a BUNCH of other stuff, but now I can't freaking remember. Basically, I was just totally bitching him out for that comment, because Kristeen was going to walk of the stage and end the show! And then that was about it.

-Jef and I were with a group of people walking around in a department store, like a JC Penny. No one bought anything. Then we appeared in my mom's bedroom. The group was washing up at the double sink/vanity area outside her bathroom. I finished and went to watch TV in the same room. One of the sinks was full of water and soap because it wasn't draining. Then I saw Jef was leaning down to drink from it! I saw and yelled (like you were yelling at a little kid), "Hey! Don't drink that! It's full of soap!". THE END.

Amy, I have a similar recurring dream, except I'm stuck in high school! And every single time in the dreams, I'm like, "But I'm already in college!!!" and have to try sneaking out of the high school. It's quite horrible. I hated high school, so it's like a nightmare, really. :)

Oh my gosh I love you Chrissy  - you are so hilarious and sweet too.

OK--I apologize...

ahhhh!  The third grade!  That's the grade of all the diarhea jokes too. 

I remember in third grade, my teacher Mrs. Thompson would tell me that I was so smart.  One day I said:  "It's not that I am so smart, it's just that everyone else is so stupid."
 
Needless to say everyone caught up with me in the next grade and I've been trying to catch up ever since.

I had a dream once where I was eating chicken noodle soup (I'm a vegetarian in real life) but then I realized I was eating chicken and went to spit it out in the dream but in real life I spit all over my pillow! I was like, half awake and was like, "I can't believe I just spit everywhere."
