I'm just happy to share it with people I know will enjoy it... of course if anyone feels they MUST return the favor, I'm always willing to except payments of porn and/or alcohol :P
Seriously though, I found the showbusiness demo on a site that no longer exists called thenoisemakers.com .  It was described only as a four-track demo, so I'm not sure if it was part of something she was selling at shows like MEOW, or if it was exclusively for the site.  All I know is that it is completely awesome :)  More to come!

Yeah, it IS awesome.  I recorded that in my Mom's basement and that and Meow were sold at shows and were also the demo's that got us our first record deal.  Now calm down.  All of this stuff will be released in due time..., by us.

(hyperventilating)...That's great !

If you release it, they will come.

I know I will be buying all that stuff - even if I've got it already by some other means.  I think if I love a band (KRISTEENYOUNG) I should try to support them in every way.  Even if it means buying something twice, you know?  It's a way to say thanks for what they've given me (music).

(hand over heart)  LOL

Yeah it would be super cool if they put together an album of all the old rare stuff, or things that never appeared on an album, etc. I'd buy that.

Just came back from itunes and downloading Mr. Blue Sky.  I didn't know it was available there but got the downlow from a T.V. blog post; I had looked for it before and when Rachel showed us a youtube of it I liked it but the audio wasn't great on it so I couldn't catch the nuances.  The actual download has so much more of the subtlties (how do you spell the plural of subtle) not to mention Kristeen's high Fucking F.  Good description, Rachel.  F stands for Fucking high, just unworldly high.

Anyway, tangent over.

Oh one more thing, how many octaves does that woman contain in that little body?  She's like guiness book of records.  When I listen I go agape.

Why do the posts have a mind of their own with regard to font-ing itself as it pleases?  It drives me crazy.  Well, crazi-errr.

It's ok thstsp. It's not like you could have knwn and we all will be buying all of it anyway. It's like a teaser.

Good point!  I know I'd buy it.  Thanks for the consolation, PX, I actually do feel a little less crappy about it.

Thestsp:  You shouldn't feel like an ass - how were you to know?  These songs were recorded a long time ago, from 2002 and 2003?

If it's a no-no to upload Live stuff to share with people who really appreciate and cherish these things, why is there a "Downloads" section under "Forum Categories" on this website?

I'm just wondering, I don't mean to be rude.

It's not a n-no KYk. Or at least it shouldn't be. KY has stated her position on bootleggs.

And as for the demos, I see them as gems that we can enjoy now and only enjoy more with an official and higher-quality release.

I'm in STL.  I'd like to go to all three, but I know for sure I'll go to the Vintage Vinyl show...
