I filmed about half the show, INCLUDING the Zeppelin cover (which was just KILLER).  I'll be showing it on my webshow on Saturday the 11th---I'll post a link here.

The club was GREAT, but there was so much smoke my pics came out HORRIBLE---I'd like to see the pics people were taking with the higher-tech cameras!

Both opening bands were really good (the first sounded like a cross between ALIEN SEX FIEND and the soundtrack to LIQUID SKY, and the second sounded like newer-era GARY NUMAN with female vocals.)

Kristeen's voice was the best I've heard yet---and their closer, COMFORT IS NEVER A GOAL, is one of the best songs she has written yet---that sucker just plain R O C K S.

Don't miss her!  They're also coming back to this club in June.  :D

Of all the damn things to do. Awesome. I always assume that anything Kristeen cites in "Kill the Father" is actually something she admires. XD

I'm really glad that her voice is sounding great. I'm super excited about tour...

KY belting out the Zep cover!  The place was too smokey but I cleared the pic up as best as I could.

That couldn't have been any cooler to hear this.

So, is she wearing a modification de coat hanger in front? Awesome.  I love the gladiator plastic 6pack rings.  It's a reinvention/variation from the usual dangling rings held together with clothespins.  So cute.

evelyn---when I got there, the place was already packed with smoke, and the opening band (the first one---the 3 piece) were playing---I felt like I was in that film LIQUID SKY between the ambiance and their techno-y music!  I knew right then the pics were gonna be a problem.

It's so true about the smoke!  I took a couple of pictures and none came out any good except for this one:

I also took some video, most of it is low quality (the sound on That's What It Takes, Dear is really static-y but the ending sounds clear) but I thought you guys might enjoy anyway.

Look at the way that dress falls.... drapes, whatever.  It's like consistency of a tire tube material.  I know because David has that stuff all over the place.

She's almost like a living art form, or do I mean arm fart,  no, I mean art form.

Going to bed now.

The cut-out is so fucking amazing. Just... FUCKING amazing. It really cements her sense of humor.

I love it.

There's something very sexy about a sweaty drummer working his ass off on the drums behind a slinky Kristeen rolling around on the floor.

loadof27---the songs she doesn't play keyboards on have really poor sound on my video, too.  Must be all that bass?

Yeah, it must be!  It was especially strong on "That's What It Takes, Dear" but I have no idea on how to edit the sound.  Oh well, at least the picture quality came out okay.  Looking forward to your videos! :)
