and except for piano practicing.  Does anyone else play here?  I know Chrissy does!  I used to too.

I've admired people who know how to sew.  I haven't tried that before, I mean really tried with a pattern or anything.  I think I would be too impatient.  I had a little sewing machine once when I was like 10 - I think I sewed a gingham dog and patchwork something or other cat.

You'll have to take photos and show us your wares Rachel!

Oh, saying I can play the piano is far from truth. Heh heh. I think James does.

I play piano. My songs sound like finger stublings set to dungeon wails; though I think I'm getting better.

I can play London Cry pretty exactly, though.

I can also sew buttons back onto things, though cannot MAKE anyhing. I'd like to learn how.

I can't really say I play piano, but I've learned to play a few of Kristeen's songs. Well, bits and pieces of songs is more like it. I pretty much know all of Depression Contest, though.

Did you play/learn it by ear?  Just by hearing it?  That's pretty good.  Ya'll should upload for us to hear. :)

I'll go first with something embarassing but none of you should be embarassed anyway.  Speaking of Led Zep, my friends and I did a parody for "Led Zeppelin's Biggest Fan" contest last year.  It was really fun.
(I am the second girl in the movie - it's 6 minutes long)

At the Morrissey show here last night, You Must Love Me was played in the pre-show playlist thing. It was thrilling! Even more because I was surrounded by people who didn't like KY, so I sang and jammed and rubbed it in their faces that Morrissey still likes her (obviously).

I discovered KY through Morrissey, I'm so happy they're going to be opening for him at the Oakland show, I only wish I could be there!   I hope those attending the Oakland show can record some KY footage, that would be such a treat.  Also, does anyone share my wild fantasies and somehow wish/hope that they will be onstage together?  I dunno, maybe she can sing that opening for "That's How People Grow Up" (not that this has been on Moz' setlist) or they can duet on "That's What It Takes, Dear"  Okay, I know I'm dreaming but wouldn't this be awesome?  :)

SNIPPET FROM A REVIEW OF THE ST. LOUIS MORRISSEY SHOW:

At another point he said, "Of course we're privileged to be in the hometown of the great Kristeen Young." A murmur and then a scream went through the crowd. Moz responded: "Oh, she is here."

@Loadof27 - That would be awesome.

Awesome. Actually during the Moz show in Durham, last month, they did play That's How People Grow Up - with her intro from tape.

Who wants to bet that she does the intro for him LIVE??   Do I have any takers?  And... when will the bubble dress make it's appearance again??  Then?  Never?  Does she store the bubble dress in bubblewrap?

These are all questions that for some reason I want to know.

I'm totally dreaming of co-stagings, but I doubt it'll happen, given that it didn't in '06 and '07 and would have been very easy. Still.

I can promise nothing re: recording the show. I'll try to get a pic but I do not have pit tix (this being the only West Coast solo show moz is doing for forseeable future, they were at a real premium). I will try to do something if I have time to sort it out, but I'm really not savvy about this.

Gosh, Chrissy. Twitter is leaking into your vocabulary.

I think bringing KY onstage for THPGU would be amazing. Though, probably just a fantasy because the co-bill is gesture enough.
