Site's not rebuilt yet; it's still just a placeholder with the "That's What It Takes, Dear" press release and the old links to buy import hardcopies.

But THAT is proper a piece of sleeve design, right? The first thing I thought was silent comedies, Chaplin on the gear or Harold Lloyd hanging off the clock - she looks like she's clinging to the keyboard either for comfort or for her life. The arrangement of the photo's beautiful. I love the blue title font, which keeps the band name from overwhelming the title. I would buy this if it had been anyone; it's arresting!

I like that there's light ahead of her and darkness behind, and her forward shoe appears to rest on the lower edge of the frame, whereas the back shoe is losing its grip. Not so much a heroic dash into the future as a trapped duality, the kind "That's What It Takes Dear" aims for.

Yes! It's trancingly beautiful.

I just love the grip she has on the ketboard... like she's cuddling her semi-automatic.

Site has been changed, so now some of what I just said has turned to lies, and the cover image is bigger.

If TV took this too, he deserves a lot of credit.

It's gorgeous - I see a futuristic 1940's where Love and Devotion exist only with Oneself, one's Keyboard and the their Spawn-Songs.

Itz awesome. Sooo---, well-, pretty(ruling ankles to say the least...). Film stills like on that one charming single. Makes me wunder if passed-on mantle of the world has shit in itz ears is heavy to wear.

I was looking at the album cover photo again and I thought of something else that I see. It's also 2:50am so maybe in the morning this will seem different - but oh well. Anyway, obviously she is laying down on her right side and cuddling (whether this is foreplay or afterplay - we don't know)... doesn't it look as if she is walking too, as if on a ledge. The sheets with their vertical stripes remind me of a skyscraper. Here look: (I hope it's ok to post this image here)

That's some serious photo composition. Beautiful, of course! I love the black and white with the blue. She's stepping into new light, clinging to her true love.

Guys! i dont like it! i dont like that cover coz Kristeen Looks like Bjork on it! and the thing is i HATE Bjork! i cant stand her! The concept is AWESOME but her facial expression looks like Bjarks :(

YOU'RE RIGHT. I've always hated the musical comparisons between the two because there is NO connection, yet I've always thought she sometimes looked exactly like Björk. Oh well, lucky for me I love Björk but it doesn't ruin it for me regarless. =)

And we can pre-order now! I need to get paid before I can do it, but I'm sure it won't matter. Yay!!

Looks like a couple more tour dates, too, returning to the Modern Exchange and Record Bar, yay (I wish we had something like the Modern Exchange in our town...the idea impressed me so when I saw the venue in the videos...)
