I am all set up to stream when it starts in 1.5 hours, just after finishing all this other crap I have to do. I think I'll try to record as well, in case of the nightmare new track/out of the room scenario, but I doubt it'll be worth sharing (since all I've ever figured out how to do is use Audacity to record the MacBook's speaker with the MacBook's microphone, and those are both beautifully designed and convenient crap - plus the album will be out soon, etc).

Of course, obviously, I have no idea what he's going to play, and only imagine he'll play KY because he HAS played KY many times...for all I know, he's going to take the completely reasonable step of going "okay, I played everyone in the Edgefest lineup several times each last week; let's give it a rest now that the show is over."

Good show, some excellent music played, but nothing (unless KY was in the first 20 minutes - I had connection problems). I tuned in essentially the moment he said that Edgefest was just amazing and now, having played Edgefest fans extensively of late, he had now prepared a set of other people. Damn...

Interesting - new songs titles to look forward to. :-)

Coyote J's "The Edge" show has been around for 20 years, he was the first DJ playing stuff like Skinny Puppy, Ministry, etc. on his show when no one else would. I wonder if anyone knows this answer but in KY's song "Rock Radio" where the lyrics are:

"....the point, extreme, the edge, the zoo,
make some room....."

Are the lyrics referring to alternative radio shows, including Coyote's legendary "The Edge" show? I know "The Point" is a St. Louis alternative radio station, but I don't know about the others mentioned in the lyrics. Does anyone know? I just thought this was interesting.

I have it on good authority that Coyote J did, in fact, play KY in the first 20 minutes of his show last Sunday! Figures, right???

Sorry about that! Hopefully, you'll be able to catch his show this Sunday night. He's playing many selections off the new album. Which, by the way, Coyote J says is the BEST by far. So many great songs.

Yeah, I saw on the MySpace. Bitterness! But at least it was a track I'd heard. Now that you say this I will be there on Sunday with triumphant golden bells on.

Just from what I've already heard on MySpace and live, I totally think it might be lining up to be their best ever, and topping their previous is hard. It just needs to come out (but we are patient). Thank you for all your info.

Does anyone else have difficulties listening to the show?

Last week this worked fine, but this week it's being igh. I can't hear a thing except the suspiciously clear commercials (I already told you this but am telling the board for some reason).

We may just never hear these tracks till it's out...
