From Morrissey. I always check out the opening bands for any show I go to so of course I listened to KY months before the show. After that, I was listening to pretty much just KY because I was so pumped to see her live! I was more excited to see her than Morrissey after watching the few live videos of their show on http://kristeenyoung.com. Soooo phenomenal.

From Morrissey I suppose. She was the opener and I loved her. I think the fact that she was one of the most indie artists (well, in the sense that I actually wanted a physical copy of their album) that I listened to in a long time helped. Also that I can actually talk directly to her! Plus her and Jeff are amazing musicians, and incredibly attractive and just amazing.

There was a music show on our local collegue radio (Radio Universidad de Guadalajara) that played "Marley's Ghost" once, back in 1997, I recorded the track and then got a copy of MMYAHABB on Amazon.

I saw her open for Morrissey and I was blown away. I immediately started buying all her music.

I read an interview with David Bowie where he was praising her, so I investigated. She blew me away instantaneously.

The Friday 29/09/06 entry on the http://memepool.com/Date/260/ memepool - so, indirectly, Morrissey. I couldn't actually find Kill the Father, but I found 'Rotting on the Vine' and a couple of others, and didn't look back.

Don't worry, I found it eventually :).
