Why Kristeen's Not More Popular..?!

I think a big part of it is that the music scene,including radio, SUCKS BIG TIME NOW. Kristeen will have to make it by word of mouth and hardcore fan devotion. It also wouldn't hurt if Morrissey would bring her out on tour with him again.

It would be really cool if they went with M again. Yeeeet, it would be so sad to hear KY taking more rounds of shit from Morrissey fans. I'm sure Kristeen loves Morrissey enough to put up with it, though. But I can't imagine how tough that was.

If that DOES happen, though, I will without a doubt be right in front so I can actually SEE KY & Jef this time! :)

I don't think she'll get booed this time around. I think when you open for Morrissey you're in a tough spot right off the bat. Most of his fans are DEVOTED to him and couldn't be open to anything but him at a live show. It does help that he loves her music, maybe he's gotten over his little tiff with her.

I had read somewhere that the tiff was actually with the tour manager, Boz. His daughters happened to be in the audience that night and it pissed him off. I guess I shouldn't be bringing up old rumors. But I definitely think that KY is building respect and a following in their own right. As a fan, I feel very devoted to them. I first heard them when they opened for Morrissey in Myrtle Beach and I liked them immediately.

Boz isn't the tour manager. He's Morrissey's guitarist. I doubt Morrissey's band have hiring and firing power; that kind of thing is usually reserved for people who aren't wearing matching outfits.

I wouldn't be surprised if his daughters were there, though - I hear Morrissey's mother was there, and Russell Brand and the soul of Johnny Thunders, and Jesus and Buddha - sounds almost as well-populated as the Sex Pistols' first show at the Hacienda.

It's pretty much for sure she won't be playing with him anymore. They don't even talk anymore, really.

And she is building a following. And I do, too, fell very devoted to her; which is interesting. I don't think I've seen a lax KY fan yet... have you? Honestly. It's kind of hard to be one anyway.

Yeah. I just ment she's said they've only spoken a few times since the incident, and she's still pretty shaken so I'd assume, even if he would let her back on, that it wouldn't happen.

Kristeen is a RUDE girl..it says on her Piano...Morrissey should have been more carefull with her and know what to expect from a talented and furious creature like her! KY is Here to Cause Storm NOT to calm it! Her Songs Say it all! She is Angry and frustrated! She wont take shit from Morrissey or any other artist fans! That's why i like her! She Doesnt give a shit what ppl think about her!
