I thought I'd save some clutter byt making a thread for one-off questions that didn;t deserve their own thread. Plus I always ask all kinds of questions... so:

-What is Lucia?

-Where is the second version of (Don't Go) Back To School from, and what is the difference?

-What is spec? Kristeen has mentioned a few times that she was greatful that T.V. has worked with her on spec because she couldn't afford him otherwise...

-Was the Blueberry Hill show completely filmed, and if so, is it avaliable anywhere?

-Is there any other audio interview besides the Janice Long BBC interview? And was I right in perviously hearing a version of this interview where Janice compliments Kristeen Don Devil Girl and Kristeen says she's proud of it? Any video interviews?

Thank you... I can never get enough informations about my obsessions...

-I always read "Lucia" as sort of an allegorical figure - a slightly younger misfit who Kristeen is trying to help, but who sort of is Kristeen as well (hence the ambiguity of the "help"). Lucia and Laurel might just as easily be real women, but I've always assumed they weren't.

The name is Latin for light. There's also Saint Lucy, aka Lucia (who I urge you to Wiki, so you can see a Renaissance portrait involving eyes on a plate) and the opera Lucia di Lammermoor.

-There's a second version? This rings only a distant bell...

-On spec: for free (with the implication that this is preliminary work which will later lead to paid labor).

-Dunno. Hope so.

About the second version of (Don't Go) Back To School, it was released on the Promo-CD of Breasticles, kind of replaced by Valuable on the final release [:)]

Thanks for the info on Lucia... I wasnt sure if it was a person, place or... alligorical fiure. ;) (And I very much enjoyed the painting of Saint Lucy!)

Thanks for the (Don't Go)... info. For some reason the Breasticles promo sounds farmiliar but I don't know... Does anyone know what it sounds like?

AND... new question (I never stop...) Was the cd that Kristeen sent T.V. demos of Enemy songs or a completed Enemy? And if she sent demos, were Laurel and Sacrifice leftovers of them (as they sound... demo-esque?)

grr at not being able to edit post five minutes later

I found sheet music for Lucia di Lammermoor... I'm not sure if it's complete, but it seems interesting.

the Breasticles promo, at least one version of it:
1. Bite Down
2. 21st Century Ride
3. Touch Tongues
4. (Don't Go) Back To School [new arrangement, change of lyrics "screaming Dead Kennedy's songs" instead of "screaming our favorite songs" and background vocals in some parts
5. Saviour (Bowie's Mix) [haven't heard any other mix]
6. Automatic Love
7. Rock Radio
8. Breasticles
9. We Want More!?
10. Incubator (New Version) [same as the official release]
11. Flash [this version doesn't have the "they surround themselves with people who are sick..." part]
12. Buddy Boy [without the keyboard effects at the end)
13. Wake The Dead

so no We're The World or Valuable, but the track's order is great!

And according to the articles I've read, Tony Visconty heard the final version of Enemy...
