So tell me, what do you think of..

I haven't exposed my parents to any music I've enjoyed since, I think, 1990. I'm not sure if this is a regret or not.

And my friends mainly have nothing musically in common with me or each other, so while we talk about our music, we don't tend to rec. ...What kind of sad-sack AM I?

Most people I expose her to don't like her. I put the Depression Contest video from Fearless Music on my MySpace and people kept saying "it's like she's just hitting random notes". Most other people say she's okay, but not "their style"; but that goes for most people I listen to!

I'm confused by anyone who can't tell they're supposed to sound random.

I guess it helps to hear them twice and realize it's exactly the same. XD

I've played Kristeen for my family and friends. My friends don't like her. And only my nephew like her out of my family.

I suppose that I'm a pretty piss-poor fan in this respect as I've not really tried to expose anyone(well, one person) to the music of KRISTEENYOUNG since I feel music of this caliber stands on its own, outside of fandom and above criticism. In some way it finds you by coincidence(serendipity!?), and something clicks. But this forum is cool; nice to see other's impressions.

Of corse, this being said from someone who prefers to listen to the Hairspray soundtrack over much anything else...

I guess even if it were actually random, it would be better, because then it would be obvious that she could keep harmony at the same time as being insane... i love art.
